We have detected an issue with one of our Edge Routers. On the 10th of June, we noticed a BGP session had been terminated. After analyzing the issue, we confirmed that it was caused by a fiber cut. Due to this, our traffic has been automatically re-routed through another data center. As a result of the re-routing, we are currently experiencing high latency in our network.

The issue was solved. Our fibre in AMS-5 has returned to active state.

Our temporarily new fibre line is available in our datacenter, our engineers will visit the datacenter today and connect everything. Once the configuration is applied afterwards our latency should noticeable drop to a minimum.

The new fiber order has been delayed. We are waiting for delivery.
